LA84 Foundation’s investment in KidWorks has enabled the growth of after-school baseball, soccer, and karate programming to serve over 200 youth. KidWorks operates in high-crime, low-income neighborhoods of central Santa Ana. These exciting sports opportunities are in addition to the tutoring, mentoring, fitness, arts, college-readiness, civic engagement, and leadership development activities that benefit 800 children, youth, and parents every week.
At KidWorks we understand that the odds are stacked against children living where crime is high and positive outlets are scarce. Through our holistic programs that support the entire family, we help children not just beat the odds, but change the odds.
